The Plainsmen baseball team has signed new players for the 2018-2019 season.  The future Plainsmen, Micah Bregard, Bobby Lawson, Zeke Hass, and Jonah Coleman look to come in for the Plainsmen and add some depth to the program.  Head coach Bryan Shepherd is excited for these young men and is looking forward to what they will do for the Plainsmen.

Coach Shepherd's comments:

Micah Bregard (RHP/SS Air Academy HS)- Micah is a very athletic player, and brings several things to the table for us next year.  Hit .383 as a Junior and was 6-1 off the mound with a 2.04 ERA and 63 K's.  We are looking forward to having Micah as a two-way player for us next year.  He is very polished off the mound and can really hit.

Bobby Lawson (1B/DH Omaha, NE)-  Bobby is a big, strong Left-Handed hitting 1B\DH.  He will fill a spot In the middle of the lineup for us next year.  He has a great maturity as a hitter, and works hard with what he does.  We are excited to see him hit for us next year.

Zeke Hass (OF Eaton HS)- Zeke is a dirt bag type player!  The guy who always has a dirty uniform.  We love the grinder type kids here, and we feel he will be a great fit for what we have coming back.  He is very athletic, and plays outstanding defense in the outfield.

Jonah Coleman (LHP Lincoln Southwest HS)- Jonah is a big, lanky RHP with a huge upside!  He is mid 80s right now and has good off-speed stuff to work with.  We love his attitude and cannot wait to get to work to develop this young man.  We feel he will be a 90+ arm by the time he is done here at Northeastern.
