Carlos Morales is the fourth soccer athlete of 2018 to sign on to continue his athletic and academic career as a Plainsman. Morales has signed a Letter of Intent with the Plainsmen after spending last season with the UCV where he served as team captain during their National Tournament run. He has been a six-time selection for his regional team in Venezuela where he was part of a group who were twice runners-up in the National Tournament.
Head coach for the Plainsmen, David Groves is excited to have Morales on the squad. "As a two footed player, Carlos can play anywhere across the back four and his strengths are in individual defense situations. He has captained sides at a high level and the coaches who have worked with him have raved about his character and leadership qualities. Carlos also excels in the classroom and is wonderful addition as a student athlete to this institution."
