New Additions To Plainswomen Soccer

The Plainswomen soccer team has signed five new student-athletes for the 2017 season.  The incoming freshmen will look to make an impact right away as season begins.  Head Coach Ken McAlpine adds, "I am thrilled to announce the signing of these five, very talented, student-athletes. All of these players are versatile, having played multiple positions through their soccer career. Their versatility will allow us to employ various strategies and give us multiple options when game planning against different opponents. With these additions, our roster is shaping up nicely for the fall. We have added some great attacking talent, while also solidifying our back line."

These talented young ladies are just what Northeastern needs going into their second season of competition.  McAlpine also commented, "Not only will they help us tremendously on the field, but I feel like they are also wonderful additions to Northeastern and the Sterling community. They are great examples of the type of student-athlete I want to bring to our campus. These young women possess very high character, a drive to succeed in the classroom, and a commitment to representing our program the right way."
