Northeastern Baseball Falls To Salt Lake Community College 11-0 In Game Three of the Four Game Road Series
Salt Lake defeated Northeastern 11-0 on Sunday thanks in part to 11 runs in the second inning.
The Bruins jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Kade Gambill doubled, scoring one run, Grady Daniels hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Gage Wareham singled, scoring one run, Drew Smith singled, scoring one run, Lute Chavez doubled, scoring one run, Gambill drew a walk, scoring one run, AJ Thomas drew a walk, scoring one run, Daniels singled, scoring two runs, and Tyler West singled, scoring two runs.
Colin Roos earned the win for Salt Lake. The pitcher surrendered two hits and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one. Tony Slizowski took the loss for Northeastern. The right-handed pitcher went one and two-thirds innings, surrendering eight runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking two.
Michael Clark, Brayden Stufft, Zach McVay, Brendan Clelland, and DDC Player of the Game, Eastin Hubbard each collected one hit for Northeastern.
