Northeastern Baseball Falls To Southeast Community College In First Championship Game 14-10
Even though Northeastern collected 18 hits to Southeast's 17, they still fell 14-10 on Sunday. DDC Player of the Game, Nate Glad led Northeastern with five hits.

The Bobcats got on the board in the first inning after Jack Hogan hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the first inning, Northeastern went back into the lead after Eastin Hubbard singled down the left field line, Zach McVay singled down the left field line, Michael Clark singled to center field, George Greene singled down the left field line, and Glad singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Northeastern added one run in the third. Glad singled down the right field line, making the score 6-4.
The Bobcats took the lead, 8-6, in the top of the fifth thanks to singles by Jordan Monroe, and Jake Smolinski.

In the top of the eighth, Southeast broke up the tie when Burke Jasa singled, scoring one run. Then a double by Teigan Munce followed to extend the lead to 11-9.
McVay hit a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the eighth for the Northeastern.
