Northeastern Men's Golf Opens Season Up at Eastern Wyoming
Northeastern Men's Golf openede up their season at Eastern Wyoming College this last Thursday and Friday. There were plenty of bright spots in the tournament, but Tadese Keyworth shone the brightest, earning the DDC Golfer of the Tournament. Keyworth ended up tying for 4th place after shooting a first round 73 and second round 72, for a total of 145, which equated to a +1 performance. Seth Morrison shot a first round 76 and second round 75, for a total of 151, tying for 10th place. Ryan Ewoniuk shot a first round 79 and second round 73, totalling 152 for a tie for 12th place. Joseph Mentele shot a first round 79 and second round 80, totalling 159 for a tie for 27th place. Kasen McNeilly also tied for 27th, after shooting a first round 79 and second round 81. Tyler Miller tied for 31st, after shooting a first round 86 and second round 75. Diego Mondragon tied for 37th, with a first round of 83 and second round of 84. Jacob Bodhi also tied for 37th, shooting a first round 85 and second round 82. Overall, the team came in fourth place in the tournament, totalling a score of 616 over the two day tournament. They will be back in action again on 11th and 12th in Riverton, Wyoming.
