Northeastern Men's Golf Competes at National Preview Tournament in Newton, Kansas
The Northeasten Men's Golf team traveled to Newton, Kansas and competed in the National Preview Tournament this past weekend. The Plainsmen ended up in 15th place at the end of the tournament. Teams were supposed to orginally play 36 holes in the first round and 18 holes on the second round, but because of freezing temperatures on the first day, round were cut down to 18 holes on both days. Tadese Keyworth was named the DDC Golfer of the Tournament after posting scores of 75 and 76, to shoot 7 over and tie for 35th among 90 golfers. Tyler Miller shot rounds of 86 and 76 to finish tied for 68th. Bodhi Jacob had rounds of 82 and 83 to finish tied for 73rd. Ryan Ewoniuk and Kasen McNeilly finished tied for 79th. Ewoniuk had rounds of 92 and 75, McNeilly had rounds of 82 and 85. The Plainsmen are finished up for the rest of Fall and Winter and will be back in action starting again on March 19th in La Junta.
