In a spirited Region game at Plainsman Park, the Men's Soccer team from Northeastern Junior College, known as the Plainsmen, faced off against Western Nebraska Community College on a sunny afternoon of September 13, 2025. During the first half, the Plainsmen saw themselves trailing as Western Nebraska Community College managed to sneak in a goal, leaving the halftime score at 0-1. Despite their best efforts and several close chances, the Plainsmen couldn't find the back of the net in the first half.
