Northeaster Softball Loses Second Game of A Sunday Double Header To McCook Community College

Northeastern Softball couldn't find the bats again, as they fell to McCook Community College in the second game of the double header 9-1. Addison Steele was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Steele went 1-2 at the plate, hitting a home run and gaining one run and one run batted in.

McCook was able to push across runs in each of the first four innings of the game. Northeastern scored it's lone run in the top of the fifth inning after Steele hit a home run to center field. Mackenzie Bowie started in the circel for the Plainswomen. Bowie went 5.2 innings, giving up 9 runs (8 earned) on 16 hits, walking one and striking out two. Reina Roberts and Steele were both able to collect one hit in the contest.
