Northeastern Softball Gets Back In The Win Column, As They Take Down Otero College 2-1 In Game One Of The Four Game Home Series
Northeastern Softball was able to pick up the win over Otero College 2-1, in a toughly fought pitcher's duel. Reagan Fehrninger was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Fehringer started the game for the Plainswomen and ended up earning the win. Fehringer threw all 7 innings, giving up one earned run on 5 hits and walked one batter.
The Plainswomen were the first to get on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning when Isabelle Bencivenga singled, scoring one run. Bencivenga Kelsi Jurczeswky, Blayke Duncan and Addison Steele each collected one hit for Northeastern. The Plainswomen were able to steal three bases in the contest.
