Northeastern Softball Falls To Trinidad State College in Game Three of the Four Game Series
Northeastern Softball fell to Trinidad State College 9-2 in game three on Sunday. Maddie Cline was named the DDC Player of the Game. Cline threw 5.2 innings of relief, giving up three unearned runs on four hits and struck out two batters. Cline also went 3-3 at the plate, driving in one run in the contest.
Mackenzie Bowie started the game for the Plainswomen and ended up taking the loss. Bowie threw 1.1 innings, giving up 6 runs (four earned) on 5 hits and walked two batters. Number nine hitter, Cline showed the depth of the Northeastern lineup, collecting three hits in the contest. Blayke Duncan and Cline each drove in one run in the contest.
