High School/Club: Making it to state with more than two people almost as a team

Personal:  Daughter of Jessica Zimmerman. I have one older sibling, Marcus Washington and one younger sibling, Everett Martin. 

Major: Business

Academic Awards: Getting a golden bear for playing all 4 years of golf on varsity, A,B honor rolls.

Why NJC? I chose NJC because they have all the things that I want to pursue in one school. I was originally going to go to InteliTech in Grand Junction Colorado just for Cosmetology, but then I had heard that NJC had an amazing program. Not only that they had the sport I had played all through High School and since I was a baby. Cosmetology and Golf have a tight schedule together2, which is why I am going to study Business my first two years and hopefully stay a third to focus on my certificate in Cosmo. I am beyond grateful that I get to have the opportunity to be a walk on for this team and hope that I grow in skill and the effort I am willing to put in for this team will give me the chance to play in tournaments with them and hopefully get a scholarship the next year.
