Bio

High School/Club: Competed for CV Torrejón and earned a third-place finish at the Madrid Championship (U15) while also competing in older age divisions, including a runner-up finish at the U19 Madrid Championship. Continued competing at a high level with Feel Voley Alcobendas, becoming a Madrid Champion in the U19 and U21 categories while also earning multiple runner-up finishes in the U17, U19, and U21 Madrid Championships. Recorded four Top-5 finishes at the Spanish National Championships, including third, fourth, and fifth place results. Won the Superliga 2 Promotion Playoffs with the club’s first team and competed in Spain’s top professional league, Superliga 1, while still eligible for youth competition. Selected to the Madrid Youth Regional Team (“Selección Madrileña”) for three consecutive seasons and represented Madrid at the Spanish Youth Regional National Championships (CESA), achieving Top-5 finishes on two occasions. Competed simultaneously across multiple age categories throughout the club career, including U15, U17, U19, and U21 divisions.

Personal: Daughter of Carina Ferrer and Carlos Rey. I have one older sister, Micaela Rey and one younger sister, Carola Rey. 

Major: Sports Management

Academic Awards: Graduated from Spain’s Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), the equivalent of 7th–10th grade in the U.S. education system, with Academic Distinction and achieved the highest GPA in the graduating class with a 9.53/10 average. Selected twice for “Torrejón Estudia,” an academic recognition awarded to top-performing students from each high school in Torrejón de Ardoz, Spain, and was the only student in the class to receive this recognition on two separate occasions.

From the moment of committing to the program, the team created a welcoming environment that made joining NJC an exciting opportunity.
